Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, who else processes it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Effective date:

What we collect

Account data: the email address you register with, and the company name, industry, company size and country you provide at signup. We use these to operate the account and to understand which sectors the product serves.

Calculation data: the HS codes, customs values, origins and destinations you submit, and the reports produced from them. This is your commercial data, and it is what the service exists to process.

Operational data: authentication timestamps, credit transactions and error logs. These exist so that a billing question can be answered and a failure can be diagnosed.

What we do not collect

We do not receive or store your card number. Payment details are entered on Paddle infrastructure and never reach our systems; we receive only the confirmation that a payment succeeded, and an identifier for the subscription.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share your calculation data with other customers or with third parties for their own purposes.

Why we are allowed to process it

Account and calculation data are processed to perform the contract you entered when you created the account. Operational data is processed under our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, available and correctly billed.

Transactional email — purchase confirmation, receipts, account notices — is sent as part of performing that contract and does not depend on marketing consent. We do not send marketing email without separate opt-in.

Who else processes it

Supabase provides database, authentication and file storage. Vercel hosts the application. Paddle processes payments as merchant of record and holds the billing relationship. Each of these processes data on our instruction in order to deliver part of the service.

We keep this list current. A processor added later will appear here before it begins processing your data.

How long we keep it

Calculation reports are retained while your account is open, because a report is the record of what you were charged for and you may need to reopen it. Credit transaction records are retained for as long as tax and accounting obligations require, which is generally longer than the account itself.

When you close your account we delete account data and calculation reports within 30 days, except where a record must be kept to satisfy a legal obligation.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Where the request conflicts with a legal retention obligation we will say which records we must keep and why, rather than refusing without explanation.

Requests go to privacy@landedpulse.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production data is limited to what is required to operate the service. Report files and uploaded spreadsheets are stored privately and are readable only by the account that produced them.

No system is immune to compromise. If a breach affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority within the timeframes the law requires.
